The policy to support passengers affected by typhoon and flooding
Due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi causing floods in several northern provinces such as Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, etc., many passengers were unable to travel to the airport to board their flights. In line with our commitment to community support during natural disasters, Bamboo Airways is implementing a support policy for passengers affected by Typhoon Yagi, as detailed below:
Applicable policy:
- Ticket and Additional Service Changes: One-time free change, with passengers paying any price difference or additional taxes, if applicable.
- Ticket and Additional Service Refunds:
- Ticket Refund: A fee of 450,000 VND, except for Economy Flex and Business Flex, which follow the ticket conditions
- Additional Service Refund: Free of charge if refunded together with the ticket.
Scope of Application:
- Applies to tickets and additional services (seats, baggage, etc.) issued before September 10, 2024, departing from Hanoi and Hai Phong with a departure date between September 8, 2024, and September 18, 2024.
- The seat must be confirmed.
Note: For tickets and additional services with a departure date between September 14, 2024, and September 18, 2024:
- Passengers who purchased tickets and additional services via the website/app should contact to cancel the booking and additional services at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- Passengers who purchased tickets and additional services through agents should ask the agent to cancel the booking at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure time or directly contact to cancel.
- Passengers/agents must submit a request for changes or refunds no later than September 30, 2024.
- If passengers do not notify the airline or agents do not cancel the booking and additional services at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure time, the above support policy will not apply. Ticket changes or refunds will follow the ticket conditions.
Ticket processing period: From September 13, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
